Life introduction
Dr APJ Abdul Kalam's full name was Abdul Pakiz Zelubdeen Abdul Kalam. He was born on 15 October 1931 in a village named Dhanushkodi in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu. His father's name was Jainulabdeen Kalam, and mother's name was Ashiyamma. He was from a very poor family. His father was not much educated. His father had some boats, by which he used to take care of his family. Dr. Kalam Sahab had five brothers and five sisters in his family, of whom Kalam Saheb was the youngest.
His early education started at the age of five from the primary school of Rameswaram. Kalam ji's childhood was spent in a lot of struggle, he used to get up every day at 4 in the morning to study mathematics tuition, after that he used to come back at 5 o'clock and go to offer Namaz with his father. After this, Kalam ji used to bring newspapers from Dhanushkodi railway station, three kilometers away from his home and distribute them on foot, and after getting ready at 8 o'clock used to go to school.
After receiving primary education, Kalam took his high school education from Schwartz High School, Rameswaram. After completing this education, he took admission in St. Joseph's College, Trichy in 1950. Received BS-C degree from this college with maths and physics subjects. He did his graduation from Madras Institute of Technology, Chennai. Here Kalam sahib chose aeronautical engineering.
Dr. Kalam's Inventive Life
In the year 1962, India's first indigenous satellite SLV-3 was successfully launched as Project Director General in the Indian Space Research Organization. After this many satellite vehicles S. Ale. Launched V. Kalam Sahib had placed the satellite near the Earth's orbit at Rohini, Delhi. Due to which he was made a member of the international club, and the credit for launching the ISRO Vehicle Program goes to him. Dr. Kalam served as the Science Advisor to the Defense Minister from 1992 to December 1999 and carried forward his research in the direction of developing the development method of fire science. In the year 1998, under his supervision, India conducted its second nuclear test and India was included in the nuclear power-rich countries.
On The presidency of India
Dr. Abdul Kalam was elected as the eleventh President of India. The Bharatiya Janata Party-backed NDA constituents made him their candidate, on 18 July 2002, Kalam was elected President of India by a ninety percent majority, and was elected President of India on 25 July 2002 in the Ashoka Hall of Parliament House. The oath was administered. Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and his cabinet members and officials were present in this function. His term ended on July 25, 2007.
Personal Life of Dr. Abdul Kalam
Dr. Abdul Kalam was a disciplined person. Dr Kalam was also a good writer, many books and biographies have been written by him, one of which is 'Wings of Fire' biography, which has been published on the guidance of Indian youth powers. Dr. Kalam has also written poems in Tamil languages, the books published by him are in great demand not only in the country but also abroad.

Dr. Kalam had authored many inspirational books, which are specially written about children and youth. Dr. Kalam was also the Vice-Chancellor of the Institute of Space Science and Technology for some time.
After The End of the term of the President
After ending his term as President, Dr Kalam was appointed Honorary Fellow of the Indian Institute of Management Shillong, Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, Indian Institute of Management Indore and Indian Institute of Science Bangalore and the Visiting Professor. Appointed as Chancellor of the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram Professor and Assistant Professor of Aerospace Engineering at Anna University. He provided education in the field of information technology at Banaras Hindu University and International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad.

Dr. Kalam's Death
On the evening of 27 July 2015, Abdul Kalam was giving an explanation on the 'habitable planet' at the Indian Institute of Management Shillong, at the same time he suffered a heart attack, and fell unconscious, was taken to Bethany Hospital in critical condition at around 6:30 am. He was taken to ICU where doctors declared him brought dead. About 9 hours before his death, this information was given by tweet, that he is going to lecture at Shillong IIM.
After his death, his body was brought from Shillong to Guwahati, the next day his body was brought to Delhi by Air Force aircraft. The security forces took off his body from the plane at Palam airport with full state honors, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President Pranab Mukherjee and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and the chiefs of the three services were present.
All the people offered flowers, necklaces on the body of Kalam, after that his body was wrapped in the tricolor, with full respect, kept in a gun carriage and taken to his residence 10 Rajaji Marg. Many dignitaries including former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav were already present here. The Government of India had announced 7 days of state mourning in his honor. On the morning of 29 July, his body was sent to the home town Mandapam by an Air Force aircraft and the former President of India was presented with full state honors at Rameswaram K. P. Karumbu was buried in the ground.
