In this phase the money spent from outside or from other sources again comes back to that person legally. This money comes back through investment in a company, buying real estate, buying luxury goods etc.

Money laundering person creates many fake companies to make his money appear as legitimate, such companies are also called "shell companies". Transactions worth crores are shown in the balance sheet of these companies, which do not actually happen. It does not pay income tax. If someone checks these, they are given wrong information. This company runs only on paper, in reality they do not exist. In other ways, individuals buy movable and immovable property with illegal income, whose value is shown to be very low, so that tax can be saved.

#10. Laws for money-laundering in India
The law for money-laundering in India was made in the year 2002, it was passed in the name of Prevention of Money-laundering Act, 2002 (PREVENTION OF MONEY LAUNDERING ACT, 2002). So far three amendments have been made in this Act. These amendments have been done in 2005, 2009 and 2012. In this act, illegal transactions have been brought under the purview of the law.
